Michael Maynard
PRESIDENT
Maynard started his career in broadcast production and later worked as an executive at Warner Communications. For the past 35 years he has been an entrepreneur, working primarily in real estate development and investment. Today, he also focuses on pro bono work and fundraising in support of education, the arts, political reform, and medical research. He earned a Bachelor’s degree at Dartmouth College and an MBA at Harvard Business School.

Kathy Harvard
BOARD MEMBER
Wife and caregiver of Andy Harvard. Works as an advocate in the fight to end Alzheimer's disease and is the marketing and sales director for InnerAsia Trading. She has served in various executive and board positions in human service and arts non-profit organizations following a career in international development with the United Nations Children's Fund.

Jed Williamson
BOARD MEMBER
President Emeritus of Sterling College and past President of the American Alpine Club. Climbed with Andy on Mt. Everest and has provided several archival photographs.

Chelsea Congdon
BOARD MEMBER
Chelsea Congdon is a co-founder of Kinship (www.kinship.earth), a global conspiracy to use storytelling and art to raise a new cultural narrative of our deep interconnection with the web of life and each other. Kinship convenes global grassroots community leaders, indigenous advisors, biodiversity and social change organizations and media producers to co-create and amplify life-centered magnetic stories expressed through art, the language of emotion. As a producer with First Light Films, Chelsea collaborated on environmental documentary films for public television audiences, as well as for outreach to communities, public agencies, schools, libraries, film festivals and non-profits. An expert in western water policy and river management, Chelsea worked with the Environmental Defense Fund and with local partners in Northern California and the Roaring Fork Valley to bring water users, conservation organizations and resource agencies together improve river management, stream flows and water accountability in the Southwest United States and northern Mexico.
Chelsea serves on the Board of Blue Rising Together, a Colorado non-profit dedicated to education, advocacy and outreach around fentanyl poisoning, guns and high potency THC that threaten the lives and wellbeing of young people.
Chelsea earned a MA in Energy and Resources from University of California, Berkeley and a BA in Natural Resource Economics from Yale University.

Pete Webster
VICE PRESIDENT
Dartmouth classmate of Andy's. He is an outdoorsman and whitewater kayak enthusiast and has served as a past president of both the Ledyard Canoe Club and his Dartmouth class. His brilliant mom died from Alzheimer’s disease. Her last four years were especially difficult as her beautiful mind faded.

Nathaniel Shoaff
BOARD MEMBER
Nathaniel Shoaff is a senior attorney with the Sierra Club's Environmental Law Program based in Montpelier, VT, focusing on transportation electrification and the climate impacts of fossil fuel extraction on public lands. He joined the Sierra Club Environmental Law Program in 2009 after spending two years in private practice in San Francisco. His work entails policy advocacy on behalf of Sierra Club's Beyond Coal, Clean Transportation For All, and Our Wild America campaigns, and he's litigated National Environmental Policy Act and Clean Water Act cases on behalf of a dozen conservation organizations in state and federal court. He has extensive experience addressing Article III standing and NEPA climate issues.
Nathaniel received his B.A. from Middlebury College and his J.D. from Vermont Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of Vermont Law Review and coached JV soccer. In his spare time, he enjoys canoeing, baking bread, skiing uphill, and showing his children how to stack a cord of wood.
