Leading the New Era in Neuroscience

The 10,000 BRAINS/NEURO AI PROJECT is a non-profit initiative dedicated to advancing research, diagnostics and targeted therapies for the millions of people affected by neurodegenerative diseases worldwide.

Inspired by Andy Harvard, Michael Maynard and Kathy Harvard serve on its board.

By working across neurodegenerative diseases and harnessing innovative technologies, 10K BRAINS aims to accelerate breakthroughs in early detection and personalized care.

It is a $200 million initiative that focuses on three priority areas:

• Brain Tissue: it aims to significantly increase the inventory of, and access to, brain tissue especially where it is paired with clinical history datasets;

• Collaboration: it plans to accelerate collaboration between neurodegenerative disease researchers and computational biology/AI specialists; and 

• Funding Research: it aims to support promising research projects in the field.
