DEFEATING DEMENTIA
A forthcoming documentary series on the brain
It tells the inspiring story of the scientists and families leading us into a new era in the fight against dementia – and, after so many disappointments, why today is different.
The project grew out of Andy Harvard’s own experience with younger onset Alzheimer's disease and the need to change the conversation around all neurodegenerative diseases.
Andy’s friends and family came together and raised the seed funding for the series research and development.
Defeating Dementia is part of the Wellbeings series of PBS films on health and wellness.
